Genuine ZF Part 1250304391 Synchronizer Ring for Manual Transmissions | OEM ZF Parts Supplier

If your transmission is grinding during gear changes or resisting engagement, the synchronizer ring is likely worn down. The ZF 1250304391 Synchronizer Ring is the key component responsible for matching the speed of the gear to the shaft, allowing for a seamless, silent shift.
As a dedicated ZF parts dealer, we know that the “gap” or “clearance” on a synchro ring is the difference between a smooth ride and a costly breakdown. This genuine ZF part is engineered with a high-performance friction lining designed to withstand the heat and pressure of heavy-duty operation. Don’t settle for aftermarket imitations that lead to “hard shifting” after only a few months. Sourcing from a reliable ZF parts supplier ensures your gearbox maintains the precision it had the day it left the factory.
Technical Specification
Brand: ZF Transmissions (Genuine)
Part Number: 1250304391
Component Type: Synchronizer Ring (Blocking Ring)
Material: High-strength Brass Alloy / Molybdenum Coated Friction Surface
Application: Fits multiple ZF Ecosplit and New Ecosplit gearbox models.
Weight: 0.35 kg
Function: Speed synchronization for smooth gear mesh.
Simple Install Tip:
The “Dry Fit” Test: Before assembly, place the new 1250304391 ring onto the gear cone. Press down and try to turn it. It should “grab” the gear immediately. If it spins freely, check the gear cone for wear.
Check the Gap: Use a feeler gauge to measure the clearance between the ring and the gear. If the gap is below ZF’s wear limit (usually around 0.8mm for most heavy units), the ring must be replaced.
Pre-Soak in Oil: Never install a synchronizer ring dry. Soak the ring in the same ZF-approved transmission fluid you will be using in the gearbox for at least 30 minutes before installation to prevent “burning” the friction surface on the first shift.
Inspect the Sliding Sleeve: A worn ring often damages the teeth on the sliding sleeve. Always inspect the sleeve’s internal teeth; if they are blunted, a new ring alone won’t fix your shifting issues.
